Lavender Mylk πŸ’œ

Woke up craving lavender milk!!

I used to get it from Good Eggs but today will try to make this recipe from Nourish And Inspire MeΒ πŸ’œ

Lavender Almond Milk

What do you need:

1.5 litres filtered water

1.5 tsp dried lavender

2 dates

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla essence

pinch sea salt

1.5 cups soaked almonds

What to do:

Soak your almonds over night in filtered water

Place soaked almonds and the rest of the ingredients into your high speed blender and blend for 45 seconds

Pour the contents of the blender into a large bowl through a nut milk bag

Squeeze milk out of nut milk bag until there is no milk left. it’s almost like milking a cow!

Transfer to sterilised glass bottle and keep in fridge for 4 days

  1. This sounds so amazing! I’ve never heard of this before. I have all the ingredients on hand except for the lavender, but I’ve always been interested in growing the edible variety in my garden. What do you use this milk for?
